This is a really neat starter set. My son loved it and loves looking and playing with the set. I guess the only complaint I would have is that the game is too complicated… for me at least. There are lots of rules… almost like chess. I guess once you understand all the rules and learn to apply them it would be enjoyable. I would buy it again… it’s really a neat set.

My nephew (7 years old) is totally into Star Wars and loved this as one of his Christmas presents. He carries them around in his pockets wherever he goes. Not sure how long they’ll last considering that, but he was very happy to get them.

My 8 year old son and I have been playing Star Wars Miniatures for a few years now. When we first saw this set we bypassed it for the booster sets. After reading the last review though, I had to get the set to check it out.
If you don’t own any Miniatures, this set has everything you need to start. BUY IT NOW.
The map is a great map, and is indeed worth getting.
The Dooku piece is great, adding a force/light saber user to the separatist army (Grievous isn’t really useful in that way.)
The Obi-Wan is also worth getting. I already had a number of Obi-wan’s but the “general” piece that comes with this set has by far the best abilities out of all of them.
This set also comes with two different droids and two different clones.
