We thought this would be a really cool toy for my 7 year old son who loves Star Wars and science. Unfortunately, the fingers didn’t work because they were not linking together correctly with the wrist. Although when we had the hand off of the arm, we could see how the fingers should be able to work, but there was no way to troubleshoot when the toy was all together.

Also, the levers that control the arm would not stay in place- they would just pop off!

The decorative parts would also pop off. This is a very flimsy toy.

  3. My 7 yr old son got it as a Xmas gift from grandma. The pieces are too tough for my little boy to snap together specially the finger pieces. I had to help him with that section. After completion of the kit, the flexor hook to close the hand slips out way too easily and therefore the hand wouldn’t close. My son think it looks good but can’t really play with it too much because of the fear that the hook will slip out again and he wouldn’t be able to put it back together himself. I can do it because I use a hemostat to slip it back. Not worth it im my opinion.

  4. This toy isn’t difficult to put together but it is a bit tedious. Once we got ours together we were very disappointed to find that the fingers don’t move. It’s impossible to take it apart to discover the problem without breaking the fragile plastic pieces. In theory, this should be an interesting toy to build together with your child. In reality, it was a let down and a disappointment.

There is a reason this went to clearance. My son got this for Christmas and it was really cool in the beginning, but it broke within a few hours of playing with it.
