This was a fun lego set for my 7-year old to put together; however, the movie that the lego ship is related to is a rated PG-13 movie. This was not noted on the box or the description of the toy…..so slightly inappropriate. My son was sure that since we had purchased it he now had license to attend the movie. Not so.

I bought this set at Target. I should have listened to the written reviews at Amazon. My 10 year old son worked very hard to put it together, but when he started putting wings together they would not hold. I really do not want to glue it, so I will try taking it back today and getting something else. Thanks Amazon reviewers! I should have listened to you all!!!!!

My son got this for Christmas present and in the morning after he opened the presents, he was emerged with my hubby building this thing for a couple of hours. It’s a nice set but very, very fragile. It’s only 5y/o but understood this from the beginning so he’s not rough with it. It mainly stays on his desk and he just plays with the little figuers that came with it around the ship. However, couple of pieces already came apart several times and we had to re-build the thing. However, what’s the point of a toy if one cannot play with it. (Sorry, collectors but this is a toy for my son.) So I got some super glue and glued some parts that comes apart most. Now my son could actually hold the ship in his hand and pretend that it’s flying.

I hate this toy because when i was putting this together it broke several times and now it’s sitting on my book shelf because i cant play with it without it breaking in half or just breaking all together

I put glue-all on this set, and it stayed together well. I had a little trouble when it was wet, but it dried really well. Since it is so massive, I can’t play with it, but I can at least shoot the missle! I like to have the apprentice go on missions sometimes. The reason I glued it is because I read other customer’s thoughts, and it apparently it wasn’t stable, but glue it, problem solved.
