My grandson and his father (my son) spent a lot a time putting this together and they loved it. I felt it was a good time for them to do something together.

my 4 and 6 year old boys play with it constantly, much more durable than most lego’s, hardly ever have to repair it.

What is there to say? This Lego Star Wars Starfighter was fun for my 10 year old son to put together and fun to play with. He has had a blast with this toy.

To quote the 8 year old boy for whom I got this kit (which took him less than 4 hours to build, by the way … amazing …)

“It’s AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!”

and, the best part is that it shoots bombs! Ok, so I don’t want him to grow up to be a war monger, but hey, it’s just a toy for a fellow Star Wars fanboy …

I love Lego’s but they just don’t stay together very well. It took my grandson 4 times to get 3/4 of the way finished before he threw the Lego’s against the walls. Too high a price for a toy that gets put in a drawer and this is the third Lego set we have had a hard time getting to stay together after building them. My grandson has a knack for building and at 7 can put these together alone so it isn’t his skill that is the problem. I have thought about super gluing them in place. Fortunately he likes to use his imagination and build his own creations. Price is too high. Pieces can be easily lost.
